Using Rich Pictures as a sense making tool to bring your Strategic Visions to Life*
It’s not difficult to tie yourself in knots when explaining a complex idea or new process, and you can often end up with more puzzled faces than nodding heads 🤔. YOU know how the thing works but getting your thoughts out into something understandable and coherent is another story. Especially if you are trying to do this with a load of bullets and graphs on a PowerPoint. This is where visuals can really make a difference.
I help clients collate all those tangled thoughts and nuggets of information and then I sort through them to create a structure and a narrative to turn them into visual stories and rich pictures. This process of sense making ultimately turns those puzzled faces into ‘aha’ moments as the penny drops.

CoAct for Mental Health
This was such an inspiring project. Teaming up with Open Systems - University of Barcelona, we created a visual timeline of a Citizen Science Project around mental health. This wasn't just a project; it was a journey, a story of resilience, collaboration, and hope with co-researchers using their experiences to fuel a support network via an app.
